Plain terms for how we quote work, how we schedule it, how we get paid, and what our text messages are for.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of dariospainting.com and the services provided by Dario's Painting ("we," "us," "our"), a residential painting business serving Memphis and Shelby County, Tennessee. By requesting an estimate, hiring us, or agreeing to receive our text messages, you accept these terms.
Estimates and quotes
- Estimates are free and carry no obligation. Requesting one does not commit you to hiring us.
- We walk the project, measure it, and give you a written quote that lists the work line by line. The written quote is the price you pay for the work it describes.
- A quote covers the scope written on it. Work you add later, or conditions that could not be seen beforehand such as rot, water damage, or failed substrate, are quoted separately and only with your approval before we proceed.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless the quote says otherwise.
Scheduling
- The start date on your quote is the date we intend to start. Exterior work depends on weather, and we will tell you as soon as we know a date has to move.
- If you need to reschedule, call or text us and we will find the next date that works.
Payment
- Invoices are sent by email or text and are payable on receipt unless the quote states other terms.
- We accept bank transfer (ACH) and card. Card payments may carry the processor's fee, which is shown before you pay.
- Payment links we send are generated by our payment processor. We never ask for card or bank details over text, email, or the phone. If a message asks you to send those directly, it is not from us. Call (901) 675-5697 and check.
Our work
- Dario's Painting is licensed and insured in Tennessee. Proof is available on request.
- We protect floors, fixtures, and landscaping, and we clean up at the end of each day.
- If something is not right, tell us and we will come back and put it right.
Text message program
These are the terms of the Dario's Painting text message program.
- What you get. Messages about your own job only: estimate appointment confirmations and reminders, quotes and invoices with payment links, replies to your calls and texts, and an occasional review request after a job is finished. Some are sent by an automated system. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
- How you opt in. By ticking the text message box on our estimate request form, by calling or texting us first so we can reply about your request, or by giving us your mobile number in person during an estimate and agreeing to be texted. The box is never pre-ticked, and consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase or of hiring us.
- Message frequency. Varies with your project. Most customers receive fewer than 10 messages per job.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for the messages; your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.
- How to stop. Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting you. Reply START to resume. Opting out does not affect your estimate or your job; we will reach you by phone or email instead.
- How to get help. Reply HELP to any message, call or text (901) 675-5697, or email dario@dariospainting.com.
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Supported carriers. Major United States carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and their affiliates. Carrier support can change without notice.
- Privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
- Our texts are sent from (901) 675-5697. Texts to that number reach us the same way.
Website
The content of this website, including our project photographs, is ours and may not be reproduced without permission. Every project photograph on this site is a real job we finished. We use the site to describe our services and to let you reach us; we do not guarantee it will be available without interruption.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Tennessee law, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the work in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
