From the first call to the final walkthrough.

Call or text (901) 665-2883, answer a few short questions on the estimate form, or book the visit online. Dario calls back, usually within the hour between 7am and 7pm.
The walkthrough
On a weekday between 8:30 and 3:30, or a Saturday between 7am and 6pm, Dario walks the job with you, measures it, and checks the surfaces for cracks, stains, loose paint and damage. Anything that will cost more later if it is skipped now, he tells you about.
The written estimate
Surfaces, prep, coats, paint and days, priced line by line, with a start day and an end day. It is free, it carries no obligation, and it is yours to keep.
On the calendar
Once you approve the estimate, your start day is booked. If your neighborhood reviews exterior colors, the approved colors are settled before the first day.
Prep
Furniture moved and wrapped, floors covered, edges masked. Holes and cracks are patched, sanded, caulked and primed. Exteriors are power washed and scraped first. Prep is most of the work and all of the difference.
Paint
Two coats of premium Sherwin-Williams or Benjamin Moore, over primer where the surface needs it, never thinned. Tools are packed out and the room is put back each evening.
The final walkthrough
You walk the finished job with Dario and point at anything that is not right. It is fixed before the job is called done.
How long each kind of job takes.
Every written estimate carries a start day and an end day. These are the things that set them.

What we ask of you.
- Tell us exactly what you want included at the walkthrough: which rooms, which surfaces, which sides of the fence. The written estimate spells it out, so there is no confusion on the day.
- Choose your colors. If your neighborhood association reviews exterior colors, as many in Germantown and Collierville do, have the approved colors in hand.
- Walk the finished job with Dario and point at anything that is not right.

What happens if it rains?
Paint and stain need dry surfaces and a dry day, so outdoor dates depend on the weather. If one has to move, you hear it from us first.
What if you find rotten wood or water damage?
Anything that could not be seen at the visit is quoted separately, and nothing is done about it without your approval.
Are you insured?
Yes. Dario’s Painting is fully insured in Tennessee and has a Memphis and Shelby County business license (No. 114001221). We hand you the certificate of insurance before the first day.
