Privacy policy.

We collect only what we need to give you an estimate and do the work:

• Contact details: your name, phone number, and email address.
• Project details: your property's address (or just its ZIP code) and what you'd like painted (rooms, surfaces, timeline, and similar notes you choose to share).
• Messages: the contents of calls, texts, emails, or form submissions you send us.
• Basic usage data: non-identifying information about how visitors use our website, such as pages viewed, how far down a page you scrolled, and which buttons you tapped. This is tied to a random ID, never to your name or number. See Cookies and website measurement below.

• Directly from you, when you fill out a form, call, or text us.
• Through Facebook and Instagram lead forms. If you submit your details through one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, Meta provides that information to us so we can follow up. Meta's own handling of your data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.
• Through the Meta Pixel on our website, a small piece of Meta (Facebook/Instagram) code that measures ad effectiveness (for example, which website visits or estimate requests came from one of our ads) and may help show our ads to relevant audiences. This data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.

• To respond to your request and prepare a free estimate.
• To schedule and carry out your painting project.
• To check the street address you type on our estimate or booking form against the U.S. Census Bureau's public address data (only the address is sent), so a typo doesn't send us to the wrong house.
• To contact you about your request, by phone, text, or email. Message and data rates may apply; you can opt out at any time by telling us to stop.
• To improve our service and website.

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only when necessary to run our business, for example with trusted service providers who help us schedule work, send messages, or operate our website, and only so they can perform that service for us. We may also disclose information if required by law.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How you opt in. We text you only if you asked us to. That happens when you check the text-message box on our estimate request form or booking page, or when you text us first and we reply about your request. We never buy, rent, or scrape numbers. What we send. Messages about your own job only: estimate confirmations and reminders, quotes and invoices with payment links, replies to your texts, and an occasional review request after a job is finished. Message frequency varies with your project. Msg & data rates may apply.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting you; reply START to resume. Reply HELP, call us at (901) 665-2883, or email dario@dariospainting.com for help. Opting out of texts does not affect your estimate or your job. We will simply reach you by phone or email instead.

We use a small number of cookies to understand how our website is working. We do not use them to build an advertising profile of you, and we do not sell what they collect.

• Our own measurement cookies (dp_v and dp_s) hold a randomly generated ID: one that lasts about a year so we can tell a repeat visit from a new one, and one that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity to group a single visit together. They contain no name, phone number, email address, or anything you type. We pair them with things like which pages you viewed, how far down a page you scrolled, whether you tapped Call, Text, or Request Estimate, and which step of the estimate form you reached. We use this only to find the parts of the site that are confusing or broken, and to see whether people are able to reach us.
• Which ad brought you (dp_ad, stored in your browser): if you arrive from one of our ads, we remember the ad's click ID and campaign, the page you landed on and when, for up to 90 days, and send them only with an estimate request or booking, so we can tell Google which ad clicks became booked visits or jobs; Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track switch this off too.
• Meta Pixel cookies measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads are working, as described above. These are set by Meta and governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.
• Google Ads cookies measure whether our Google ads are working, such as whether a visit from an ad led to a call or an estimate request. They are set by Google, are not switched off by Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, and are governed by the Google Privacy Policy. To limit them, block third-party cookies for this site or change your Google ad settings.

How to turn our measurement off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, our own measurement switches itself off completely. The dp_v and dp_s cookies are never set and no events are recorded. To be clear about what that signal does and does not cover: it stops our measurement, but the Meta Pixel is Meta's code and is not governed by it. To limit the Pixel, block third-party cookies for this site in your browser, use your browser's tracking protection, or adjust your Meta ad settings. You can also block or delete cookies for this site entirely. Nothing on this site stops working if you do, and none of it has any effect on your estimate or your job.

We keep your information only as long as needed to serve you and to meet ordinary business and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

• Opt out of messages: reply STOP to texts, or tell us to remove you, and we will.
• Opt out of our website measurement: turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser and we collect nothing. To limit the separate Meta Pixel, block third-party cookies for this site or change your Meta ad settings.
• Access or delete: email us to see what we have on file or to have it deleted.

Our services are for homeowners and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version.
